After the towers, what should be the next 'visual symbol' of Didcot?

Like them or not, the cooling towers of Didcot A have been the 'visual' symbol of Didcot for over  40 years. Not many towns (and some cities!) our size can claim to have a striking  and widely recognised  visual symbol as the  Didcot Towers.

But three of them have already gone and the rest are scheduled to go  early next year with  the completion of the demolition by late 2016.

Once the towers have gone, they've gone. For good.

So, what should be the next visual symbol of Didcot? The Railway Centre? The Station? The Orchard Centre? The Cornerstone? Or maybe something else, maybe our wonderful countryside. Or perhaps something completely new, something that is not even there yet?

What do you think? Let us know here or on our Facebook Page. I look forward to your comments. Mike
